Over the past few years we have lost most of our sports funding.  We are in danger of continued funding reductions leading to perhaps, no sports at the High School.

There is a strong possibility there could be a "pay to play" program.  This would eliminate young people from participating whose families could not afford the added costs of playing sports.

Thus the "House of Sports" was born.  This is a fund raiser - $100 for a chance to win a house! With only 5000 tickets being sold, the odds for winning this remodeled 3br/2ba home is very high.

Paradise High School believes that a sports program can benefit our students in many ways that are valuable to both the student and to our society:

• Develop scholarship, health, strength, agility, coordination skills, recreational interests, physical fitness and habits of clean living
• Learn sportsmanship, fair play, honesty and respect for rules and authority
• Develop qualities of cooperation, teamwork, competition, leadership, initiative, responsibility, subordination of self to the welfare of the team and school, self-respect, courtesy for others, perseverance and courage
• Have fun with fellow students and visiting teams

It is also the belief that sports are fun and as a community family we enjoy following the successes of our student athletes - on and off the field.
