Prizes: Grand prize is the real property
located at 1856 Conifer Drive,
Paradise California
95969 free and clear
of all mortgages or liens except the remainder (from date of deed) of the
current year’s property taxes. If a sufficient number of tickets (5,000) have
not been sold by November 6, 2009, an alternate date will be chosen for the
raffle.
1. Each ticket will cost $100. More than one person may share in the raffle ticket purchase. Title to the
property shall be taken in the name or names as they appear on the ticket
stub. Title to the property or the cash shall be in the name on the Raffle
ticket stub and is not transferable or assignable.
2. No more than 5,000 tickets
will be sold.
3. In the event that at least
5000 tickets are not sold the House Of Sports committee may end sales and
raffle the house.
4. Eligibility.
The Raffle is open to all persons age 18 and over who are legal U.S. residents physically residing in the United States
and DC.
5. Each numbered Raffle ticket
stub will be placed in the Raffle ticket container.
6. Paradise Sports Boosters
shall appoint a single individual who will be responsible for maintaining
control and security of all of the Raffle ticket stubs. Such individual
shall, by public certification under oath at the time of the drawing,
certify that all Raffle tickets purchased have their stub in the container
of stubs from which the winning Raffle ticket will be drawn.
7. The public drawing will be
held at a location and time to be named on November 6, 2009
8. You need not be present to
win.
9. Winners will be notified by
phone and certified mail return receipt.
10. Winner is responsible for
paying any and all applicable taxes.
11. The Raffle Winner must claim
prize within 15 days from the date notification is mailed or a new winner
will be selected.
12. Winner must go to settlement on the property within (30)
days of the Raffle drawing date.
13. The Raffle winner is
responsible for any applicable state and federal taxes. All real estate
settlement and closing costs will be paid out of raffle proceeds.
14. The Raffle winner shall take
the real property in ‘as is’ condition.
15. This is a tax deductible
contribution.
16. The Raffle is subject to all
applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void
wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
17. Proceeds of the Raffle are
for the benefit of Paradise High
School Sports Boosters Club for the benefit of Paradise High School
Athletics
